The Leon Valley City Council has understandably closed the Leon Valley Community Center straight through November 2020. Since Hand Job was scheduled for the last Saturday of November, this affects the event.

I was offered the alternative date of December 12th, which I have reserved.

I do have the option to change to another venue to keep the same Small Business Saturday date. If anyone has any suggestions in a similar price range, I would be happy to hear them out. 

I think this date change might be for the best, as Fiesta has moved to November, and November might already be saturated with events. My event might have an eye-catching name, but since it is solely funded by myself, I really want to reduce risk of people going to other more famous events.

Another advantage of this venue is IF the coronavirus does spike up locally in November, I can cancel the venue 30 days out for a refund of the venue, that I could use to refund to the artisans.
