Hand Job 2021 Close-out Thoughts

I am thankful to all the guests for making it out, despite the weather, despite the pandemic. I highly appreciate that you took the time to help support the vendors of this pop-up market.

I am thankful to the vendors for making it out. I know you took a risk with me to join in on this event, and I hope you enjoyed it.

I actually spend more money on the event than I collect in booth fees, as I want to offer a handmade only event. I know that is the cost of sharing my vision with the community and I do the event because I -want- to, rather than for profit motive. I do hope I will continue to have other people join me in the shared vision for this event. Even now as I look for other events to join as a vendor myself, I still struggle to find an indoors event with only handmade-only vendors, so I do hope everyone enjoys and looks forward to this event.

I am also very lucky to have the event covered on News 4 and Fox 29. That was a great surprise and a testament to press release power.

I am winding down the 2021 event activities. I should get the deposit back from the venue shortly and can book the next one. If anyone has any tips how to get a reduced rate for the venue, please do share; I guess I am imagining the rates may have increased as a result of the recent renovations.

Thank you and hopefully I will see you next year!
